This project revolves around a collection I started in 2004, at the time I arrived in San Francisco.
My name is a big hassle to pronounce and spell correctly for non-native Dutch speakers. For some reason, I got stuborn about keeping the proper Flemish pronounciation of my name. Not that I even care if people pronounce it completely wrong.
Soon, I started collecting all misspelled versions of my name. The most hysterical interpretations, so far, are 'Steak' and 'Spait'.
