CHINESE WHISPERS

Custom build electronics and Max patch development for a reactive installation by artist Rene Yung. The piece includes passive infrared motion sensors to detect visitors presence in order to amplify stories about Chinese migrant railway workers. The software analyses the audio files and translates them into a mist using proportional valves. Thus spraying salt water onto a copper strip and embedding the stories into it.
