Etcetera (2005)
When the belgian dance and theatre magazine 'Etcetera' asked us to describe our past projects on two pages, we decided to turn it into a project itself. Instead of using words to express our way of working, we tried to take the ideas behind our interactive installations into the magazine. At that time, we were working on our 'Zeppelin' project. In preparation for this project we had gathered a ton of information and a beautiful set of inspiration, which we wanted to share with more people. The two pages in the magazine became a door to another world beyond the paper. The image of a powerbook (what's in a name) showing a browser with the URL was the entrance to our 'Workspace'. As a 'reader', guided by intuition, you could enter our virtual archive and browse around our database of information, brainstormsessions and mails. Text, hyperlinks, pictures, audio and video files revealing our interests and methods; however never in a linear way. And so, as in our interactive work, while browsing through all this content; visitors ended up exposing more about themselves, just by the choices they made.
